Filippini is in his fourth year coaching with the Tigers. He has previously served one year as a JV Assistant Coach and two years as a Freshman Assistant.

He helped start the Lodi Junior Titans program and coached at the JV and Varsity levels. Prior to that he coached and ran the Junior Tigers program and has been involved with coaching football for the past 14 years. During that span, he was the Vice Commissioner of the Northern California Youth Football and Cheer League (North).

Filippini went to Tokay High for one year before transferring to Bear Creek for the first year of its existence and played linebacker for the football team and graduated in 1994.

​

He currently lives in Lodi and works as a Correctional Officer. His two sons, Zach and Joseph are both in the football program.
