Josh Sitkin is in his 13th season coaching at the varsity level in 2021 and in his first as the Defensive Coordinator. He spent two seasons as the Junior Varsity Head Coach prior to coaching varsity. Sitkin is in his 15th year of coaching football. He also spent three years as an assistant wrestling coach. 

 

Sitkin is a Lincoln High graduate, where he played football, wrestled and was named the SJAA Lineman of the Year in 1993 and is a member of the Stockton Hall of Fame.

 

He continued his football career the next two years at San Francisco City College, where he won a junior college national title before transferring to San Francisco State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese.

 

He teaches Japanese, is the Foreign Language Department Chair at Tokay and lives in Linden with his wife Natalia and sons David and Adam.
