LUSD seeks input on stadium renovation

Lodi Unified School District is looking for public input on its stadium plan for Tokay High — both for and against.

The school will host a public participation meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the school’s library looking for input on the environmental impact report on its football stadium renovation.

“I hope people come, if there’s pros and cons. I think it’s good for people to come and voice their side,” Tokay athletic director and football coach Michael Holst said. “If there’s something that people haven’t thought of, those people that live around there know the neighborhood best.

“I hope people see this as a big boon for the community. That facility will get a lot of use from youth programs, football and soccer. It’s a big boost for the community in general.”
