Senior running back Nathan Branco earned 1st-Team All-TCAL honors when the league released its postseason awards recently.
Branco was the Tigers leading rusher with 703 yards and five touchdowns and also added 219 receiving yards on 11 receptions.
Junior offensive lineman Ian Lerner and senior Johnny Craggs were 2nd-team honorees.
Lerner started all ten games at center and put together the Tigers' best season up front. Craggs led Tokay with 75 tackles and added 6.0 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries.
Senior defensive back Chase Howell, senior defensive lineman Sebastian Palada and sophomore defensive back Joseph Filippini were Honorable Mention selections. Howell finished with 18 tackles, 1 interception and one pass defensed. Palada led the Tigers with 2.5 sacks and added 45 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. Filippini was third on the team with 60 tackles and had 2 tackles for loss and a forced fumble from his free safety position.
